The 3rd Annual Clemson Paddle Jam!

Take part in 1 or all of the following activities.

• Join us for a fun "Island Style Cookout" on the lake with grilled fish and chicken, vegan ceviche, Hawaiian coleslaw and tropical non alcoholic beverages.  (Fee: $15/person for Dinner)
• If you play Ukulele (even a little bit) and want to jam or just mess around, bring your instrument and join our Kanikapila Ukulele Jam session!  We will be playing "Island Style" by John Cruz, plus some Bob Marley and other island favorites.  Chords and Lyrics will be provided for all players.  
• After dinner and music, join us on the beach for a round of Beach Style Paddleball!  No experience is required and all equipment and instruction will be provided for free.  Beach Paddleball is a great activity to connect with friends, get physical and let go of all worry and stress.
• To finish off the day,  join us for a leisurely Sunset Social Paddle (2 miles ish) on the calm, reflecting waters of Lake Hartwell.  

1. All activities this year including post race awards and festivities will take place at 12 Mile Recreation Area in Clemson. 

2.  A complimentary light breakfast with OJ and snacks will be served the morning of the race.  *Bring your own coffee if you need it.

3.  After Check in and Safety Meeting, a Community Drum Jam will begin at 9:45 am as a lead up and "Send Off" for the paddle racers! 

-3 mile and 6 mile race will start at 10am

-1 mile fun race starts at 10:15am

4.  All participants will receive an awards medal after the race with special acknowledgment given to the top 3 finishers in each category.

5. On Race Day, vendors will be present from 8am-2pm to showcase their goods and to offer demos. Food trucks and Snow Cone truck will be onsite 11am-2pm. Live Music and Jam Sessions through out the day. If you play an instrument and want to Jam, bring it!  

6. Demos and Bonus Activities will be announced through the Cruz Outdoors Social Media Channels and also on the day of the event.

7.  On race day, we hope that paddlers and spectators will stick around to socialize and enjoy a relaxed and entertaining atmosphere.
